22 pupils from Broomfield School attended a record breaking game at the new state of the art White Hart Lane stadium. The game smashed the attendance record at a Women's super league game with over 38,000 fans at the stadium.
Many pupils were attending a match at a stadium for the very first time, and their excitement was a pleasure to witness. The pupils represented the school in an admirable manner and their joy for football was evident. The game itself was a highly entertaining end to end battle. Arsenal Women stepping it up in the second half to justify their dominance in the league over the years and scored 2 wonderful goals to win 2-0.
Hopefully appreciating the luxury of playing at such wonderful stadiums further inspires the talented pupils at Broomfield to push their sporting ambitions further, and in particular the game showed the abundance of talented female footballers at Broomfield the career pathway within Elite sport available to them.
