Broomfield School featured on the BBC London News on Wednesday 3rd May. Watch the students and staff unveil their winning throne at the Tower of London! What a fantastic moment for the school.

360 children have contributed to the throne design starting with a blank piece of paper and designing what the Throne and Coronation means to them. Those designs have been collated together to make our final, winning design, which we understand was chosen by a member of the Royal Family.

The final design features trees which represent life and growth, and they symbolise the value in all of us because each leaf is needed to create the whole tree. Vines symbolise connection and determination - values we would like King Charles to carry through his reign. The roots represent our school’s own values of inclusivity and community, and we included key workers to show our love and thanks.
