On the morning of 2nd November, the Governing Body’s committees held the first meetings of the term at the school, to consider a variety of reports and topics.
After the committee meetings, the Governors were given guided tours of the school by groups of students.
We were happy to see classes of students across all areas of the curriculum and the discussions and debates in each class we visited were animated and lively. Our guides were polite, well informed and extremely enthusiastic about being at Broomfield. They took pride in life at the school, its facilities, and their teachers. They were clearly very proud of their school, and this came across strongly during our tours.
The Governors very much enjoyed their visit and look forward to spending more time at the school in the future.
