Last week was Children’s Mental Health Week. During form time and assembly, we looked at different ways to promote positive well-being. A group of Year 7 students did a great job delivering an assembly to their year group on Wednesday. ⭐️Mary, in Year 8, made it on the wall of fame for correctly completing the Taskmaster Education and Place2Be Treasure Hunt and Tasks for Children’s Mental Health Week 2023. Well done, Mary! 👏 This Year’s theme was #letsconnect. Check out our pictures from last week. 🏃♀️ Year 9 girls enjoyed themselves in the sunshine at the end of their PE lesson. They deserved a rest having just completed the Bleep Test in team relay races as part of their fitness unit. 🏐 Volley Club had record numbers on Monday night after school with all year groups from 7-11. ♟Lots of students used the library during break time to play chess together and teach fellow students how to play. 🏓 Students continue to enjoy Table tennis fun during break and lunch times thanks to the Jack Petchey Table Tennis donation scheme. #mentalhealthisimportant #proudtosupport #mentalhealthweek #childrensmentalhealthweek
