Mace Round 2 at Highgate

Broomfield's intrepid debaters delivered stunning speeches on Monday night, justifying the merits of First Past the Post voting in UK elections. They competed in person against teams from three Independent Schools in this prestigious event: Highgate, South Hampstead and Channing Girls who all took to the floor to make their proposition and opposition speeches. The event was held in the historic library of Highgate School. Our pupils will now be getting several extra achievement points!! Mrs Chatterton leads debating and is happy to welcome all newcomers.
