Broomfield Debating Soc travelled to the amazing London School of Economics to compete with teams from Eton College, St Paul's Girls' School, Hampton, Bishop Stortford High School and more, during half-term. They had fifteen minutes to prepare on themes ranging from the school curriculum, the royal family and conscription of women in the armed forces. This was a whole-day event and our teams won first, second and third places in different rounds. Our experienced debaters teamed up with novices to develop our future talent.
