Friern Barnet and Eton boys take on Broomfield Debating Society.

"This House believes that mining on the Moon should be illegal"

Friern Barnet and Eton boys argued against the 'industrialisation' of the Earth's daughter while Broomfield teams fought back claiming that mining the Moon would eventually be good for Planet Earth. Mehmet joined the evening debate from abroad and argued that mining would add to geopolitical tensions around the world. Teachers from Friern Barnet were very impressed with the fast pace, cogent and passionate arguments on either side.
