English Speaking Union Schools' Mace

Five pupils from Broomfield School battled it out in three debates lasting four hours on Thursday 11th November. We were pitched against Channing School, Ashmole, Highgate Wood and Camden School for girls and had to defend the motion that 'it is the moral duty of artists to be political.' All the other competitors were Sixth Formers so our team really stretched themselves once again!
