Broomfield debates in Oxford Schools.

Eight determined debaters had fifteen minutes' notice to take a stance on inheritance tax and charity fundraising in the Oxford Schools debating competition tonight. This time we were up against teams from @habsboys, @harrowschool, @SHHSdebating and @WoodhouseCol. We also debated against UK school of the year in 2021 @Heronhallschool, Queen Elizabeth's School and @FBSSschool. Our young debaters were excellent and now very expert at British Parliamentary style rules. Mrs Chatterton leads the debating society and is currently rehearsing for the 2023 Oxford Schools competition.
