Broomfield debate at UCL

Our fantastic debaters just spent their Saturday of half-term debating all day at UCL. They debated against @Eton_College, @SHHSforGirls, @wschool, @DulwichCollege and other top schools with contestants aged 14 to 18. The motions included the ethics of the 'space race', deep-sea exploration, freedom of the press and animal rights. Our teams were fantastic and all the better for having debated in the English Speaking Mace in December, all day in the regional rounds of the International at Oxford Union in January, and in the Cambridge Schools' regional last Saturday. They are getting some serious experience!
